Parenting Update: One Fear Down, One New Problem Unlocked

Well.

Update on my parenting journey.

The child who was terrified of flushing the toilet?

Cured.

All it took was an episode of StoryBots.

You’re welcome, moms everywhere. I have cracked the code. Clearly, I am thriving.

The other child?

Now holding his poop.

On purpose.

Because he would prefer to go in a diaper.

So just to recap—

One child conquered fear through educational programming.

The other has entered a psychological standoff with his own digestive system.

And this is what parenting actually looks like.

You solve one problem… and immediately unlock another.

But I’m learning something in all of this:

Progress doesn’t always look like perfection.

Sometimes it looks like one kid finally flushing a toilet…

while the other one refuses to poop out of principle.

And honestly?

You just take the win.

Laugh a little.

And keep going.
